2022-2023 Nissan Leaf "Service EV System" "No Power" Error Warning

The Nissan Leaf was one of the first EV’s on the market and, coincidentally enough, the first EV vehicle to be hit with a major class action in Klee v. Nissan North America. And it looks like the Nissan Leaf hasn’t been able to shake off potential lemon law issues.

There have been numerous complaints of the dreaded “Service EV System - No Power” warning appearing on the driver dash console. Some argue that the easy fix is to replace the 12v battery that may have gone bad while others say that cold weather can make the charge of it drain faster. In any event, it’s a serious lemon law issue since drivers can potentially be left stranded if the battery decides to drop all power immediately.
