GM lowers MSRP on 2023 Chevy Bolt to $26,595 - Lowest in nation

GM now has the lowest priced electric vehicle in the US with the Chevrolet Bolt, now priced at $26,595 (including destination fee). The Nissan Leaf was the prior owner of that crown, priced at $28,195.

For the standard Bolt, this new base MSRP touts a $5,900 drop from the 2022 model year starting price of $32,495. You can compare this to the base price of a Tesla Model 3, which is about $16,000 more.

This is all notwithstanding the past and current issues the Chevrolet Bolt has had for the past few years, namely the car spontaneously catching fire. If that doesn’t scare you away, then feel free to read more here.
