2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer Powertrain and Shift to Park Problems - Lemon Law

A few months ago we wrote about the issues certain General Motors vehicles were having with the dashboard warning “Shift To Park”, as well as the recently certified class action in Tennessee. Originally, that only implicated the 2017-2018 GMC Acadia. However, owners of 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazers are saying that they’re also experiencing that issue, along with the other following vehicles:

  1. Chevrolet Malibu

  2. Chevrolet Volt

  3. Chevrolet Traverse

  4. Chevrolet Blazer.

GM outlines the issue in their Technical Service Bulletin, accessible here.

The issue can be dangerous because if a driver is unable to shift the car out of park, they can be left in a very dangerous situation of being stranded or risking damaging the drivetrain of the vehicle.
